The construction site acts as a hub between the KIT campus East with its linear structure and the technology park, with L-shaped structures. From this emerges the basic idea that the new building should be an overlap of the two existing architectural types. The shape of the lot defines the volume of the building.
The floor plans of the buildings are designed by modules based on the types of apartments required in order to obtain a repetitive structure on the various floors.
